FAQ

Does the plane consist only from printed parts?

Spars, boom and hinges are not printed and you have to buy them separately. Please check how to section for more information.

What files format is available for download after purchasing model plans?

STL files format.

How are the wings attached to the fuselage?

There are carbon rods sticking out of the fuselage with diameter of 3 mm and 4 mm. Each wing has carbon spars with inner diameter of 3 mm and 4 mm. Joiner rods are inserted wing spars.

What is included in sold product?

STL files only.

Are there some end caps for the tail?

No, there are no end caps for the tail. Tail tips are simply sealed with covering foil.
Lots and lots of compromises have to be done when designing the planes and this is one of them.

  1. It has very small benefits - mostly esthetic, aerodynamically it has only small effects depending on your skills with covering.
  2. Adding even a little bit of weight on the tail causes adding 4 or 5 times that weight to the front.
  3. More parts = more printing = less flying
